Project Description
Provide support to young people in Balbriggan and Rush. The purpose of the Balbriggan Youth Service is to enable the growth and development of young people within their community. Through the provision of a range of educational and developmental programmes we offer young people the opportunity to develop life skillls to negotiate their journey through adolescence.

Programmes and Services can include
"Big Brother Big Sister" Mentoring Programme Drugs / Alcohol Awareness and Education
Education and Training Family / Parental Support
Information, Support and Advice Support Groups
Teen Parenting Programme Relationship and sexuality education
Life Skills Programmes Youth Leadership programmes
Youth clubs Youth Café evenings
Drama club Self-esteem and decision making skills programmes
Summer programmes Band nights
Youth Citizenship programmes

Eligibility Criteria: Young people aged 10 - 18, especially those most disadvantaged, deemed at risk
