Project Description
To provide a needs based prevention and intervention focused programmes to young people aged 10 to 25 years. To provide a community based response to drug abuse with a particular focus on young people at risk or vulnerable to drug abuse. To provide, brief family crisis and support interventions to enable the family unit cope with a range of drug related issues, and referral to appropriate services. To support and guide young people in setting attainable goals and making informed life choices about substance misuse. To suppoty young people who avail of MYRS, Mullingar service who have issues with substance misuse. To raise awareness of drugs among participants and the wider community. To promote and encourage access to appropriate services among young people in partnership with relevant agencies.
